The longer the punching bag, the more weight goes in it. This will make the punching bag more heavy and it will then hang more solid. The below overview helps you choose the right punching bag length.
The Punching bag is available in the following lengths:
70 cm, +/- 14kg : Kids from 8-9 years
80 cm, +/- 25kg : Kids up until 12 years old / Boxers
100 cm, +/- 30kg : To be used for boxing
120 cm, +/- 35kg : To be used for kicking and punching
150 cm, +/- 40kg : To be used for kicking and punching
180 cm, +/- 45kg : To be used for kicking and punching
